Metal Building Paint

After 30 years of weather on the roof of one of my buildings, it’s time to repaint. I need some advice on what type of paint to use on a factory painted metal building that will last. Has anyone used a paint that stands out above the rest?

Thanks in advance for your advice

I have used Rust-Oleum with very good results. The most important thing is going to be cleaning the surface, wire-brushing rust and flakes. Rust-Oleum is an excellent paint. In my opinion, some people feel better if they spend 2-3 times as much for a "specialty" paint, but I don't think they gain anything.

Adequate preparation is much more important than the brand, type or quality of paint.
