Sandy..... Almost a miss

First tree down. Lost 8 trees in the last hurricane. Took out a hood and a head lamp from what I see. Too crazy to stay out there !

Oh no Gary, ya stay inside hope the damage isn't too bad, I put all of my done-up pieces inside (including the newest cub) where hopefully they will be better protected, the other stuff will have to fend for themselves.

I rode out Hurricane Ike a few years back.......after that I swore I would never do it again......it hit our area in the middle of the night .....not a great feeling when you are hearing trees snap and big crashes but you can't see what is going on outside...the hurricane force winds lasted for over 10 hours..... Next time I will be watching it on TV from a relatives house or hotel lobby somewhere far away.....

Good luck..we are praying for you all.

Man I hope that's all the damage you incur. Stay inside if it's gettin rough there. Gotta be sickening to see that.

I just don't have enough space for everything. I need to sell some tractors. It's heartbreaking to see them get damaged like this. The news report says we'll still have a few hrs before we even see the eight of it. High winds throught 11pm EST

Just looked at the NOAA site...you guys are in for the dirty side of the storm......Like I said ....we are all praying for you....again ...good luck..

Correction...wrong map....thought I was looking at the hurricane force wind map.....but it was the tropical storm wind map....still not good though up to 39 knot winds.

Pm'd Larry this morning. he did reply back. A lot of power outages in the past few hrs. Larry (buzzardwing), Bob Perry, Chris (Capecodcubs), Bob (spaceghost), etc live in Dartmouth Ma and there are now mandatory evacuations taking place in parts of Dartmouth.

Just windy rain here so far- steady 30 mph wind. It will be very, very bad for anyone South of Route 1 in Connecticut with greater than 100 year flooding tonight. Trucks have been banned since 11, all other non-essential traffic has been banned since 1PM

High tide between 9PM and Midnight. Hurricane force gusts at the coast. Looks like Delmarva is getting the big soak. Not much rain predicted for here.

I'm ok, Greg 49 is ok, but his back yard is flooding, and there's still a couple of hours to high tide. Called Larry, got no answer. Cecil just called, microburst or mini tornado took down the power poles, near his house. No power. Prior to that, 30 mph winds. Been gusting here, to 60 mph. Northern part of town is without power, we still have it. Ed
