I'm glad to see the H has been assigned a task, it looks real good doing that. We're looking forward to this year's display, Bill!

Several folks asked me today at the Cubfest how the project has been going. So far I have just over 22,000 lights glittereing around the yard. I usually stop two weeks before Christmas so I just might crack 30,000 this year.

I can see the glow 3000 miles away. :D I wish I could see the wide eye kids (1 to 92) as they pass by the display.

Very impressive Barnyard! Gotta be alot of extension cords or permanent UF cable in place for all that.

Some years back I took my single bottom brinly plow and ran UF cable and WP GFI outlets to most of the planting beds in the front yard for lights and such. Hardly ever use them anymore. I have only two neighbors and my daughter is almost 22 now, so I don't do as much as I use to. Maybe 2000 lights is about it for me...

Jeff, that thing comes in pretty handy for a lot of things around here. If the ground hadn't been so soft from all the rain at the time we would have had some great aerial shots of the Barnyard Bash in June.

We are up to just over 35,000 lights and I am about done. My goal is to have as many lights glowing as possible by this weekend. That is usually when we get the most traffic coming through looking. Tomorrow is supposed to be warm but windy and rainy. That means I will spend the next few days after that repairing damage. This is more than we have ever done but it seemed a lot easier this year.

I updated the website a little this year. http://www.lightupcrosby.com/

Here is last year's video. Not much changed this year. I haven't had a chance to do a new one.
