Hey folks!
Just curious what specials or movies you like to watch around this holiday time of year? I always got a kick out of the Grinch. A few years ago I saw "It's a Wonderful
life" with Jimmy Stewart and liked it alot on several levels. Probably mostly because it was set in upstate NY where my parents grew up...
So what are some of your favorites?

Merry Christmas,
Chris

A Christmas Story

Charlie Brown Christmas

The Grinch

A Wish for Wings that Work (Kinda obscure I know. Based loosely on the old Bloom County comic strip by Berkely Breathed.)

EDITED TO ADD: Christmas Vacation (don't know how I forgot that one....)

White Christmas,

A Christmas Story

Christmas Vaction
Those are three I can watch more than once, of course I watch all of the ones I grew up with, like the grinch and Charlie Brown. Been a tough weekend for watching any of these sows though I am sure many feel the same.

I don't really have a favourite.... more like a whole bunch that I enjoy. When I was younger Der Bingo and White Christmas was a tradition along with Holiday Inn and pretty much every year till I went off and joined the Navy. Since Em and I have been married, tastes have changed, blended and of course having youngun's the movies at Christmas changed. Now I look forward to How the Grinch Stole Christmas (Abbigail), The Santa Clause trilogy, Home Alone 1 and 2 and pretty much any of the comedy Christmas movies and musicals when I can find them. I find I need to have humour around this time of year, hear the carol's and hymns that I grew up with and my kids grew up with.

The other movies I feel a need to watch are the scripturally inspired movies like the Maji and that sort of thing. Helps me with the true meanings of Christmas and why we celebrate it, the birth of Jesus and love for our families.
