Mayan calendar end of the world

Postby John *.?-!.* cub owner » Thu Dec 20, 2012 9:55 am

Some people claim that the world will end Friday (tomorrow) since that is when the Mayan calendar ends. My question is: Since Friday starts at different times due to time zones, will it all end when Friday starts in the time zone where the Mayans lived, or will it end for each time zone as they reach Friday? So much for my nonsense question for the day.

Jay Leno had the best comment about it. You have to feel sorry for the people that won the big lottery last week.

The way I see it, the only way your world is ending tomorrow is if you are getting married then. But I will deny saying this if it gets back to Rosie!
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

It is amazing how stuff like this gathers steam. THE guy that deciphered the Mayan code was chuckling as there was never any reference to doomsday- just the end of a cycle. The roots of this rumor began in the New Age movement in the 60's. Bugarach France is cashing in on the loonies that are descending the town of pop 176 to be carried away to safety by the alien spaceship that is hidden in the local, distinctive mountain that looks like the Devil's Tower from Close Encounters. The Gendarmes and French Army are cordoning off the mountain tomorrow.

Recorded in sidreal time,....we see 24 hour as the earth circling the sun, 12 months as the moon around the earth. The mayan calender is the solar system as we know it 7 planets 10? as it moves through the 12 signs of the zodiac measured in ages, we have left pisces and entered into aquarious the age of knowing. The beginning of the Mayan calendar was 5,000 some odd years back when there was a great calamity upon the earth. They figured that this may happen every two ages. Not the end of the world but some say the end of it as we may know it. I am going to have turkey wings tonite so if we make it to next week and the bones are dry , I can start on a turkey call, yup!

If you need undeniable proof that the world is not going to end tomorrow, just watch "Back to the Future. Marty McFly travels to the future in 2015. If the world had ended tomorrow they couldn't have filmed the future part of the movie. LOL.

Hang on one minute. If we research into this deeper we find out a big disaster is going to happen and when were not sure yet. What started it all is the hoppe indians was getting a visit from our goverment about a lease or treaty about there land when the indians mentioned about the end of the world will happen sooner or later. Now the goverment is drilling under ground caves all over our country for there survival.

We in the usa have the biggest super volcano in the world at yellow stone and the ground is rising every year. I would think this would erupt and end it. The count down has started with the 12-21-2012 winter solstice its just a matter of time. One more thought is a strike by an asteroid, but there is a hole in our magnetic field too. The worst solar flares are due here by May 2013 NASA says. They also said it can happen so fast we don't stand a chance.

On the other hand i hope our creator retrurns to set us straight and it will be a new beginning for us on the earth the next chapter, i pray and hope, godbless BigBill

I'm going to enjoy each day and play with my tractors right till the end so be it. I have plenty of Ed's corn meal, plenty of can goods meat and veggies and flour for bread. I'm all set if we live thru it.
I'm technically misunderstood at times i guess its been this way my whole life so why should it change now.
