Beautiful truck, but John is sure right! I would love to have a dually flatbed for hauling, but a regular pickup for day to day driving......even my half ton pickup can be a pain to park at wally world and other such places....

I bet it will flat-out pull a load though!!

Bill, Beautiful machine, black is my favourite colour for a motor. COOOOOOL wheel trims. (I'll bet that machine could haul the Titanic up from the bottom of the North Atlantic) Is it a turbo charged Diesel engine it that baby and what hp is it. Good health to enjoy the power and the comfort you will get out of it With Diesel in this country about the equivalent of 9 dollars per Imperial gallon it would be costly to run in Ireland. Bill I deal with a fleet of duramaxes. The only real negative I can say is their very fuel sensitive. Be sure to fill up at places that sell a lot of diesel, and I'd also carry a fuel filter and the special wrench needed to change the water sensor in the bottom of the filter. They tend to clog easily if you get a bad tank of fuel.

John, I've been there many times. The new truck is actually replacing my other one ton. I’ve had it since 1988 but haven’t driven it in about five years due to extreme cab rust. Since parking it I had been relying on my 84 Ford F150 (75,000 original miles) or the Cuburban with a trailer.

Now you'll have to invest in a Gooseneck to haul several Cubs around.

I get in enough trouble with my 18 footer, I better leave it go at that.

Uhh, what seat?... Actually we never made it there. I called them later and the woman said there was no record of me ordering anything. She said they had a new manager because the other was screwing up orders and mine was probably one of them. I gave her the stock number so she checked and said yeah, we have three of them on the shelf. We went back today and picked up the seat some lights for the trailer and a few IH things. On the way home Rosanne was looking at the receipt and said it didn’t look like they charged enough so she started calculating and couldn’t figure it out. Later she saw we had gotten the senior citizen discount. I guess the check out gal thought we looked old. Now I need to go back only on Wednesdays when they have senior discount day and look old again.

We had talked about getting a new truck for a few years now but settled on the Cuburban when we needed a car more than a truck. Getting the heavy duty Suburban filled both needs for awhile until we could find a truck we liked. There are only three two of these on Cincinnati car lots right now.

Bill, that's a real beauty! I've always wanted a Duramax but I don't use a pick-up as much as I used to. Our motorhome took over most of the towing duties, so the pick-up was demoted to general utility duty. I can't wait to see your new rig at Roy's!

Very nice new truck! I'm a Ford guy but my boss has a truck very similar to your new one and I have pulled our skid loader with it and man I was impressed! You'll be happy. My next truck may very well be a Chevy/GMC.
