Spring?

Yesterday afternoon, I mowed the back and side yard. The grass and weeds (mostly weeds) were better than shoe mouth deep. Needed some attention. This morning, I saw the first robins out in the yard, and the wild apple tree in the edge of the woods was blooming out. Not in full bloom though. When it dries a little I am going to try to set out my onions. I am having cabin fever really bad.

I have been watching the plight of you folks in the northern tier of states and on up in New England. And across the sunny southland. We had 3 snows in a month. Really rare for us. Only had 3.5", 1.5 " and just a dusting, enough to stick to ourside tables, cars, etc. And rain. I am fed up with winter. Now when your snow starts melting, downstream troubles will start.

Try and save it, you will probably need it later this summer.

Try and save it is right. Around July and August, we down here will be begging for rain in any amount. Just a good heavy dew will help.

Finally a day without cold and snow! It hit 45 degrees here today, and lots of snow melted.

About the same here, but like Kevin, we still have several inches on the ground. But started seeing robins about two or three weeks ago. They were digging out frozen crab apples from the snow that the deer dropped. The deer have that tree picked pretty clean.
