What An Inspiration!

Lauren Hill is a local freshman at Mount St. Joseph College who is dying of cancer. Doctors say she won't see Christmas this year. However, Lauren is no ordinary college student. She has dedicated her remaining days to helping raise awareness to her type of cancer. The NCAA has allowed the team and their opponent to move their opening day game up a few weeks to allow Lauren to compete in her only college game. The opposing team was to be the home team, but they agreed to move the game to Cincinnati to allow Lauren to play in front of family and friends. Xavier University also gave Lauren's school permission to use their much larger facility for the game. Xavier seats over 10,000 spectators and all tickets sold out in 30 minutes.

Read her story and you will find that all the trivial problems we face day in and day out are nothing compared to her situation, yet she takes it in stride and pushes on. Read more about this amazing young lady here. http://www.wcpo.com/sports/ncaa-represe ... ly-cancer-

You can also Google "Lauren Hill Mount St Joseph" for more about her struggle these last remaining days.

Just watched a segment on GMA about Ms. Hill. What a wonderful, although sad story.

Bob, she scored the first two points of the game and sat out till the end. Once everyone saw they were in the lead to stay the fans started chanting for her return. The coach put her back in during the final minutes and she was able to score the final two points for her team. I'm sure everybody from both teams did what they could to make this a great day for her.
