That is (was) a clean little Chevy truck. I guess the frame was bent in the collision. Are you going to repair it? The insurance co will total it most likely. Years ago I was hit from behind while turning left. I was driven squarely into a ditch bank. The truck didn't look that bad, but the frame had a nice "s" shape to it. I removed the dog house, cab, and bed from the truck and installed it on a good 3/4 ton chassis. It worked out very well. I hope that you didn't suffer major injuries. Mechanical stuff can be repaired much quicker and easier than broken bones, etc. And the older you get, the longer it takes for those aches and pains to go away. We all think about these mishaps while towing stuff and drive accordingly. But very little can be done to anticipate the erratic driving of the other guy. Speed kills, take it easy! Larry

It looked like mine only worse!! Ford Aerostar. I spun it around. And the passenger of it fell out on the ground.

But Rudi I don't want to go anywhere now for fear of the guy I'm meeting. I don't have any control over him. You know you come within 4 feet of getting killed everytime you meet a car. You should look at how the trailer tried to keep going. My welding held but the metal bent up. I don't think a Cub could be tied down so that it would stay on a trailer in a quick stop. So you guys best figure something to hold them down beside's a few nylon straps. And watch out for the other guy! And if you know of a Chev Cream Puff pickup let me know. I found a 82 Cream Puff on ebay with 12,500 actual miles in Washington State. Item number: 4565931263

Glad to see you escape that one ok.I had a knucklehead hit the back of my chevy 2005 silverado 2500HD. On the way back from upstate NY on I95 next to the Tappenzee bridge. Thank goodness i was not trailering anything.His nissan went under the hitch,messed him up good.Not one mark on the chevy 3/4 ton.I should have had the ball and reese hitch extension on. Lots of plastic and I thought i smelled anti-freeze from the buckled roof of that altima Thanks for the heads up on the cub tiedown.Have to come up with a good strapping technique..Hey it's a jungle out there.........
