Better Living Through Chemistry

Postby PVF1799 » Sun Aug 09, 2015 5:18 am

Hi all - wanted to share that the steroids I am taking are permitting me to function w/o the immobilizing pain that went on for ~6 weeks starting just before Memorial Day. I still don't know what illness I have and won't be seeing Rheumatolgy until 24-August. I've been doing some fun things ffor the last two-weeks.

1. Sand blasted some SHOTT metal chairs. These are the totally metall chairs made by Balcrank, Inc. in Cinncinatti, Ohio in the 1950's. Pipe arms and metal seat and back.
2. Picked some Chocloate Peppers and out 1st tomotoes from the farm.
3. Best of ALL - the local fair asked that I bring Rex'48 over for this week to have it on display (INSIDE). I drove Rex from the farm to my house (2.2 Miles) yesterday. 1st time in the seat in a very long time. Cleaned him all up, mounted up the corn planter and 101A Hopper and yes I even blackened the tires with Armor-All. I'll get you some pix when it's on display.

Thankls to all of you for the prayers, emails and posts.

Best regards to all - Ken

Good to hear you are not in pain. Your Rex resto has given me hours of pleasure, another few pics will do the same. I'm sure you're proud to be asked to display it. Good luck with the health Ken,
