A lot of the members on this forum deer hunt as well as myself but one young boy tried to be a hero by posting a picture of a massive non-typical that he said he killed with a bow about twenty miles from me it worked for a few days until the official scorer went to check it out he had bought the antlers in PA.and screwed them on a little three point bucks head from hero to goat in a week.for the story go to

I had trouble finding it from your link. This one goes straight to it.

Appears that the scorer may have been too easily duped.

One quick look at the photo of the NC buck makes it obvious that it's a fake. That deer is too small and too young to have antlers like that. I find it hard to believe that the scorer was fooled by that.
