Disapointment

Postby jim turner » Sun Aug 14, 2005 6:34 pm

Well guys I'm disapointed I was working on my Cub restoration when I fell in the shop cut my leg pretty bad had 6 stitches in it and I now have my entire leg infected and since I am a diabetic it is pretty serious. The Dr has me on some powerful antibionics and if it don't work I will be going into the healing clinic, so I won't make the Portland show it seems and that is my disapointment.

Jim: I am hoping for a quick recovery for you. It seems that bad things often happen at the most inconvenient time. Dan

We're pulling for you Jim. My wife has diabetes and takes 160 units of insulin a day plus 2 pills. I know what you are going through. Good luck.

Take care of that wound and get it healed up. The Portland show will be there next year!

Take care of your leg. Portland will be there next year. You need to make sure that you are as well. Being a diabetic I understand the healing concerns... takes forever it seems doesn't it :?:

But a little patience, and the Lord will take care of you. We are praying for a quick recovery. Eat well, mind your sugars and get rest.... like SIT for a spell...you will heal faster.

Jim, we'll miss you for sure but like the guys said, take it easy and get healed up. It's much more important.

Jim,
Sorry to hear about your mishap. Take care of yourself, follow the Doc's orders and remember you have a bunch of your cub buddies praying for your speedy recovery.

I bought an old tractor all dusty and worn,

I washed her and greased her and painted her red
Now she lives happily right here in my shed.

Jim,

We are all disappointed at your misfortune. Put all other things aside and concentrate on the most important... healing that leg.

We'll miss you, but rest assured that we'll have Portland well under control. Well, maybe except for Bigdog! :D

Plan on making the trip next year!!!
