Recently received the Tricare statements for the shingles vaccine shots for wife and I. We owe just under $400- for the shots and office visit. It's not all bad, the $400- covers the family deductible for fiscal year 1 Oct 15 to 30 Sep 16.

Veterans Choice Program, I'm not eligible. Live with in the 40 mile radius of a VA medical facility.

I got my shingles shot at Walgreen $205.00 is what they charged me and had a Dr. perscription, but guess what I broke out with shingles two weekis later aND several times since so went to my Dr and he said it don't always work so I will be taking Zorvarix the rest of my life. :(

My dad (age 61) has been battling Stage IV Lung Cancer for two years and is slowly losing. A couple of months ago he had the misfortune of adding shingles to his list of ailments. Absolute misery...
