IH M1 GARAND RIFLE

Postby Clownfish » Wed Oct 21, 2015 8:16 pm

The Nov Issue of the "American Rifleman" magazine has an interesting article about IH making M1 GARAND rifles for the Korean War. All of them have INTERNATIONAL HARVESTER stamped on them.

I once had one issued to me in basic training. We were the last ones to use the M1 in that company. It was one of several manfacturers and I guess as good as any. I never saw a rifle after that. :D Vern
