I recently came across a NOS disc mower canvas, and there's some damaged black "Plastic Cardboard" being tossed at work. I'm thinking a makeshift heat houser may be in the works.. hehe. I have the photos of the IH version, and think something may be able to be fashioned. (doesn't have to be pretty for me...just functional)
I can already see the FH crank getting in the way, and the deluxe seat back preventing access from the rear.. I'll have to think about this for a while.. Any ideas?

I have no ideas, but knowing you, it will be something very nice as well as functional.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

When my dad' JD 2940 was new, it had a heat houser on it. The frame where the windshield mounted was hinged where the tractor steps were so you could get on and off. I don't remember how it was held "shut." Maybe you could make a "suicide door" so it would swing out so the steering shaft won't be in the way.

Rick Prentice made something about 10 years ago, may be more involved that what you have in mind. As I recall, he had a door in the side.
