My Father In Law was the Grand Marshal this year. He wasn't about to ride in the normal convertible, so he drove the tractor that he normally drives in the parade. It's a 1930 GP pulling a 6 HP JD Model E engine on a buzz saw rig. (tractor on the right in last pic.)

I count 22 seats. Where do you find drivers to fill them all?

I would enjoy watching them all go by, great assembly!

Quite a collection. I like the pedal tractors in the first pic.

Thanks.

Scrivet; There were probably 27 out there (can't see them all in these pics) Not everything made it into the parade. (including the Cub, someone turned the lights on and battery was dead and not enough time to boost it) I have a few regulars and the Lions Club (parade sponsors) puts out the word for volunteers. This year was our best yet, almost everything that was able to start made it in.(need batteries) I had one shut down before leaving the yard and there were probably 3 others that would have started if there were drivers. In total I would guess we had about 18 units in. Next year is the 50th year for Lumberman's Day (probably the last) so the Lions want to go all out and said they would try to get commitments for drivers ahead of time. If everything goes (except the crawler) there would be 29 units.
