I just looked up the average snow fall for my area.
Average over the last 30 years, 1 inch.
One day record, 14 inches.

The Keweenaw is actually a very nice place - in July. Ideally I guess would be to live there in the summer, it is cool but nice by Memorial Day, and the Rio Grande Valley in the winter but I'll take my change of seasons. No snow on ground now but forecast a few inches in the next couple of days. Vern
