Finally got around to getting the alternator and bypass pulley off late this evening. Little crooked and it ate into the housing a tad before lockup. Luckily it didn’t burn up the wiring harness or plugs.

Just looked at O’reilly website, that bypass pulley has a lifetime warranty. We’ll see what they say tomorrow about trading it.

Customer brought a swing arm from a motorcycle in and wanted the bearing races removed from a blind hole. The guy who runs the lathe was messing with it and couldn’t get them out. I told him I’ve heard of people welding them and letting them cool off and getting them out. He said let me make a piece and you weld it and we’ll see what happens. Worked great.

Went to the parts store and handed this to a friend who works there he said I’ve never seen one do that and I ask was it lifetime warranty, he looked it up and said yes it is. He switched it out then said “what locked up to make it do this?”

Been building another miniature platform carrier. This first one, our son keeps asking about it and his birthday is Monday so I’m gonna give it to him to play with. This second one is getting 1/4” thick hickory boards on it.

Remembered I had this fan in the building so I’m gonna marry it to this Maytag engine. I bought 2 of these fans at an auction about 15 years ago and made brackets to hold them and put the other one on a Briggs & Stratton then traded it for the hydraulics for Arnold.

Made some skids out of an oak pallet. Got to mount the fan down and make an elbow for the exhaust pipe to hook to.

It’s not what you know but who you know. A friend of ours is an officer and our sons party was police themed so he had four officers stop by. I made this jail prop at work for pictures, my wife saw one online. That’s our daughter, 4 officers and me. Our son didn’t want to be in the photo.

On a side note, I may have a John Deere shirt on but I do have a Case/IH hat on :D

You deserve to be in Jail for wearing that shirt. But aren't the Police supposed to be on the other side of the bars?
