Potential for huge snowfall MI & IN on Friday/Saturday
Here's one to keep an eye on for this coming Friday/Saturday. One model is predicting upwards of 40" of snow in NE Indiana and slightly lesser amounts up into the southern lower peninsula of Michigan. Here's looking at you, Ricky Racer!

It's raw computerized weather model output that is used by forecasters to make weather predictions. The map is specifically from WeatherBell.com. Some of the other models are showing varying storm tracks and lesser amounts. All of them agree we're going to get a decent storm though.
I'll throw out my guaranteed prediction that we'll get somewhere between 0" and 40"

John Dee still remains one of my most trusted sources for winter weather forecasts.

Most of the models have now shifted this storm about 200 miles to the east, completely out of Michigan, and have it hitting most of Ohio, some of Pennsylvania, and western New York.

still waiting for parts from OOPS [ups] for the 185 [btw the motor looks great setting on the back]
wonder if they can bend a 1'' x 36'' shaft like they bent a fly tube that was shipped from grand rapids.
