I am so envious I can't wait to spend time with my grandkids in the yard!

That's an interesting hitch system you have there, Val! Bet its fun to try to back up straight...I have a hard enough time with a single joint!!

But I bet you can move the trailer around easier when not connected to the cub

that hitch adapter is the very rare IH 276R weight distribution frankenwheels . IHRWDF . NO , i made it a while back . i use it mainly in parades or our hayrides . it allows me to trailer my cub to the location , then use the trailer in the parade , with no weight on the drawbar . the highest hill in our area are ant hills , it works great . i have two bars that go to the left and right outermost holes in the drawbar with quick connects if i need to back up , that make it easy . coppersmythe................. PS : i took a 2000lb trailer axle from tractor supply , cut a section out and welded it to be about 26 inches wide , then welded 1" tubing to make the frame . i had to paint it red , thats the only color i had , for some reason.
