The wife is still in the hospital, but she has the movement of all her limbs. Her speech is still slurred, but the Dr.'s agree that with therapy she will be back at pre-stroke condition. They said there is different levels of strokes and this was a mild one. And I'm convinced that the prayers from family and friends helped make it that way. Thanks again for all your support.

God bless she has such a good outlook. Get your rest too so you don't join her in an adjacent bed. Some times we get so concerned that we forget to take care of our selves.
Happy New Year.

Merlin, gald to hear that. I had a couple of strokes a few years ago, apparenlty the ruslts of being in a comma for over a week. My problems aren't too bad, but memory and handwriting were affected. Hope she does make a complete recovery.

I"m glad to hear that it was a mild stroke. My wife had one a few years back
and today you would never know it. Hang in there.

Glad to hear it was mild. My neighbor had a pretty bad stroke and he is doing well, speaking and mobility continue to improve. I think the physical therapy produces great results. We are still praying.
