I’m Yellow, but Not a Coward -2 Week Surgeon's Follow UP

Postby Stanton » Wed Jan 19, 2022 9:17 am

Posting this from my hospital bed. From the numerous tests they’ve done, the doctor suspects a blocked bile duct from my liver to the pancreas. Symptoms are loose stool, high bilirubin count (jaundice), and intense itching everywhere. The jaundice turned me a nice shade of yellow while the itching has kept me awake for about a week now.
Final confirmation of diagnosis will come today via an MRI. Hopefully, a procedure to fix this thing for later today or tomorrow. My doctor wanted me admitted to the hospital to expedite the MRI and procedure, instead of trying to schedule outpatient.
Would covet your prayers. I know in Whom’s hands I rest and trust Him in all things, but there’s power in the prayers of others as well.

Will keep you posted…

Hoping all goes well!
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.
