Needed Prayer

Postby Jeff Silvey » Fri Mar 17, 2006 12:08 pm

To Guys & Gals:
I would like all of you if you would to pray for me. I have a respitory problem. I'm a firefighter in IN. I can retire in about 2 years who would think that something this close to retirement would hit you right in the ass.
But thats life. I do sometimes have positive additude about the problem.
I have not met any of you but hope to this year sometime. What I have seen & read that is one heck group. Will try to keep you folks posted.

Of course we will pray for you Jeff. As a matter of fact I pray for all good people whether I have met them or not. You wouldn't be on thisforum unless you were good.

Cheer up, Jeff. I've been diagnosed with COPD since 2000. It's just something that I deal with and the least of my medical problems. Just keep on keeping on! :D

Jeff:

George is right, it is an ailment easily handled. I do hope that it is just limited to decreased pulmonary function. Depending on the cause, COPD usually is manageable and is more a chronic ailment. COPD is one of many of the probs I have and it is further complicated with the discovery about 18 months ago that I also have Pulmonary Fibrosis.

The folks on this forum are awesome, and I am a living testament to the strength of their prayers :!:

Put you worries in the Hands of the Lord, and worry not about that which you cannot change. Do what your Docs tell ya, and what you know is right in your heart, and all will work out according to HIS plan.

Jeff, you are in our families prayers, as are all of our Friends on this forum.

Jeff

Keep thinking positivaly. Having a good attitude make the body stronger and and better able to heal. How many times have you heard of peaple over come incurable problems becuse they did not let other peaples and doctors negitivty overcome them? You are in my thoughts and wish the best for you.

Jeff,

You have my families thoughts and prayers.

There's a fella up the road who will be at the Texas Tumble on April 1st. He farms peas and uses a Cub to cultivate. In 1964 he had 3/4ths of his lungs removed :!: Not minor surgery now but, 1964 :?: He has survived this long due to prayer and of course, Cubs
Keep your head held high :!: You've earned it.

You got em Jeff, and I'm sure more will be forth coming.
I bought an old tractor all dusty and worn,
knew nothing about her just the year she was born
I washed her and greased her and painted her red
Now she lives happily right here in my shed.

Jeff, We're in there for you, most important after prayer is an open mind, keep away from stress, and encouragement from everyone to keep the morale up,
Thanks for your hard professional work and your content on this board,
