Update on Billy Ray

Postby Kodiak » Wed Sep 05, 2007 8:50 pm

I was able to visit Billy Ray this afternoon. The Doctor gave him a good report and he is doing very well considering the surgery. He has a great outlook. So now he has to behave in order to get to go home Friday! That's what he shooting for at this point. We talked Cubs for about an 2 hours with Mary Lou and his son Justin. It was nice to meeet Justin and other members of his family. It's great to have a supportive family and friends. Keep him and May Lou in your prayers and I'm sure he will be back on the Cub circuit before we know it!!

Ron W.
I bought an old tractor all dusty and worn,
knew nothing about her just the year she was born
I washed her and greased her and painted her red
Now she lives happily right here in my shed.

Thanks for the report Ron! Billy Ray is a tough ol bird! He'll do fine. But I'm glad to hear that he is for sure.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

Got to say hi to BeeRay last night on Flash. His daughter was doing the typing for him.... he seems to be in good spirits, glad he is recovering -- listening to the Docs can be the hard part...

Been there too! My doctors used a shotgun to kill the cancer and said it was radiation. Billy Ray can be very glad he followed an option that was denied me. I'll pray for his speedy recovery.
