I have a cousin (Bob Puckett) that frequently goes on tractor trips and to shows with me. A CAT scan showed a large mass on his pancreas and in his throat. He will have further tests today,, in the form of a sonagram, and possible biopsy. He has lost one son to cancer and another to a car accident, so his only family is his wife, who has health problems, a daughter, son in law, and 2 very small grandchildren.

I talked to Bob this morning, the cancer is inoperable. Options to extend his life include chemotherapy and radiation, but according to the Dr. the 5 years survival rate even using those treatments is zero. He is going to try the chemo to see how he handles it, but if it makes him too sick he will discontinue it and make the best of his time that is left.

Thank you everyone for your concerns and prayers.
