Al Cobb of Waterloo NY died of cancer. Bev and I went to his funeral. Al was 92 year old on Aug 4. He started farming on Long Island in the depression. He goes back to the horse and mule days. I met him Al 1973. He taught me much about animals. Al had 468 Beef and over 100 horses, poneys plus a mule when I first met him. He taught me to ride, drive and disc with a team. wire bales was the theropy that got my left shoulder working after surgery and if no more than that I owe him big time. I last visited Al in January on my way home from the get together in Jims heated shop.
I could go on and on to the point of boring every one. I will miss my very good friend.
