Thank you all for your thoughts and prayersMy aunt slipped quietly from this world this morning. Her kidneys shut down and she passed quietly before any decisions concerning life support had to be made. I am thankful for that.
I thank you all for your support. BD
I'm sorry and happy for you at the same time BD. You'll still need prayers for the paperwork and settling that is to come. I'm on it.

None of us know what the Lord's plan for us is.. we just have to have faith that HE does know what He is doing. If I may, This passage has always given me not just hope but the Peace we all need especially in times of grief. I think it is Numbers 6:11 May the Lord Bless you and Keep You. May the Lord Make His Countenance Shine Down Upon You and Give you Peace (+) Peace to you and yours during this time of bereavement. I know that she is in the arms of the Lord and has gone home to continue the rest of her journey. OUr sincerest condolences to you and your family. So sorry to hear that, Bigdog, it's always hard to give up loved ones. But, when we consider, and know, what some of our other friends and loved ones have had to go through, sometimes this way it just seems to be a blessing, no pain, no suffering, on her part, but it still isn't easy on the ones left behind. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, and her family. Pete
Our condolences on your family's loss.

prayerHi Big Dog and Ms Janet,
We are saddened to learn of your loss and will be thinking of you and your family. It is comforting to know that she went quietly. However, this does not lessen the loss to the family. On the other hand You do have the good times with "Aunt" to remember for all times.
Another sorry from here. Good memorys help at times but the hurt takes a toll too. God Bless
