prayers please...It's been a while since I've posted, because my aunt, Virginia, who lives here in the Phoenix area with me, fell and broke her hip. it happened just after we moved her into a house closer to us a week from last Saturday. She made it through a hip replacement operation, and is now in a skilled nursing facility for rehab, but her outlook could be better (she says she's ready to go). Sandy and I are exhausted, and we're hoping to get her stabilized and well enough to move into a nice assisted living facility near where we work.Prayers and positive thoughts would be most appreciated.
P.S. Needless to say I haven't touched stinky. '49 cub "Ruby"

Re: prayers please...John,
This may encourage Aunt Virginia. My step mother's step mother broke a hip over two years ago at age 99. After a short stay at a rehab facility she went back home where she lives alone! She just recently turned 102! She prefers to live alone because it's quiet. George Willer

Re: prayers please...My Grandma broke her hip two years ago. She still is living at home alone. She has to use a cane but she can still make it up and down the stairs. Get out and pick up sticks in her yard. And at 89 still drives better than me
