Hey guys,
I promised to give you an update on the challenges my youngest grandson Carson has been navigating lately, and the news is good.
With his symptoms hovering between juvenile diabetes and something much worse, his parents and doctors had to watch for another compromised episode for the circumstances to be right for accurate evaluation. Well, this week it happened, and everyone was ready.
Turns out that my little buddy has some significant problems with his immune system, which prevent his body from accepting the benefits of routine vaccines, antibiotics, and other medications; and some sort of difficiency that keeps him from building his own defenses against all sorts of problems. That's the bad news.
The good news, is that Carson's condition is very manageable, if not curable. I'm not quite sure what they're calling this condition, but thank God they've defined it, and have a good treatment plan! And thank you all, for your continuing good thoughts and prayers!

Charles - I am so happy to hear that Carson's condition is manageable and hopefully curable! I know prayers were answered. Give him a hug from the Bigdog.

Charles:
Wow! This is good news. Thankfully the family was well prepared and the mystery could be solved. Manageable and possibly curable now certainly bodes well for Carson. I am so happy for you and your family. We are keeping Carson in our prayers, and we hope that he continues to grow and blossom with good health. The Lord does answer our prayers huh??
Peace and Blessings to you all (+)

Thanks for the update on Carson. I've been wondering how he's doing. I'm glad they can diagnose the problem... It's good that we have some fine medical authorities around here. Prayers, Bill
