HI Guys I just wanted to share that I became a first time grandpa yesterday. My SD Nicole was a week or so over due or done, LOL and they took her into the hospital to induce, at 9:00pm sunday night they gave her a sleeping pill and something to thin things and it put her right into labor. after about 12 hours and a lot of problems my Grand son JAKE was born Blue and life less. They cut the cord and took him right to the NNICU and put him on oxy and and a large IV, As soon as I heard of the problems I went down to meet Grandma and he had turned pink and was looking good, they had him under a funny plastic hood covering his head. and at about 6:00AM this morn he lost his IV and was givin a clean bill of health. And he already has the Nurses all figured out you cry loud enough they take you to mommy, and you get some food. Well the last time he cryed he was not hungry he just wanted mommy. So now I have a place for my cub I guess, I was just thinking that 5 tractors was to much for a 36 acre farm this week. so it looks like jake has a cub that I need to save for him, LOL MagMan JON

Jon: From one first time gramps to another... Congratulations You are really going to have a lot of fun Jon, a grandchild is really precious... and when they have problems so early, it makes them even more precious and special. Prayers for Jake, Nicole, Grandma and yourself are on the way. (+) Don't spoil him too much or too little ok? And yup, you take care of the Cub for him. Whatdaya mean 5 cubs is too much for 35 acres???? I would say you have acreage for at least 2 more... 5 acres to a Cub is a good thin start Again, congrats on the new grandson

Jon, Congratulations!!! I can relate to the anxiety you & your family went through at first. Has Jake been diagnosed with any medical conditions? You said he was "born blue". My first son also was that way.He also had a couple of other heart related issues that had to be surgically corrected. That was 21 years ago. He's fine now... Congrats! billboy

Nope I guess Jake is a healthy bouncing baby Boy. His PH was all screwed up and he was not breathing when born I guess, But they took off with him and did something and he finally started breathing. and they added lime to the field and got him growing right. LOL By the next morn they were able to give him a clean bill of health take the IV out and he went home yesterday. THANKS FOR ALL THE PRAYERS AND WELL WISHES MY FREINDS, IT HAS WORKED. JON
