Just logged on and saw the email. Broke my heart. Prayers most definitely from Emilie and I. George and Marilyn have been in our prayers constantly for the last while. I know the Lord has His plan, and His plan for George is not in our ken, but I am sure that whatever it is, it will be what the Lord wants for George and the family.
We are praying that they find out what is wrong and that he recovers from this setback.
Marilyn.. this is for you and George.. it offers much comfort for me and my family, and I hope it does for yours as well.
The Lord bless you and keep you!

Recovery from the latest surgery has been very slow but he is making some progress. As of late yesterday, they decided he could move from ICU into a regular hospital room. I don't know if they made the move or not.

George had a rough way to go after the last round of surgery. He was hopefully going to move from ICU to a regular room last night. So there has been some slow improvement.

Thank you Jim and BigDog for the reply... Please keep us posted on George's progress. Having only met George one time in person, I can tell you that he is one heck of a fellow and BOY HOWDY does he know his cubs.
I am keeping on keeping on praying for his recovery and for the doctors who are helping him...

News from Marilyn this morning 10/16/08. As of this morning George was still in surgical ICU but has improved some. Still has a long way to go though. Hopefully he will be able to move to a standard room soon.
