Project on HOLD

I am still getting my rims and tires mounted this Friday. You have to remember I live in California....my attorney sent me a letter today and apparently a letter from ex saying don't pay me anymore is worthless. I have to explain to the court why my support should end. So unless she is getting ready to die or getting remarried the court still has jusidiction over the case to end support....Since we don't talk anymore and she is moving in with him next week is not good enough....I'm in a holding pattern....I'm not upset....She emailed today about something else so I emailed her back.....so I'm sitting and waiting.

Well that's a bummer. I guess I got lucky that my ex just left, haven't talked or corresponded in over 5 yrs.

The silence has been golden.

Well, If she is agreeable to the settlement and you are, the Judge should also be agreeable.

Be positive about about the situation.

Explain to the Judge about the Cub Project, take a few photos with you. He should really be impressed.

If that don't work, introduce him to the Bud Hun across the street--you know, the Pin-up.

Good luck.

Darn good idea Gary! Getting the judge interested in old Cub iron...hmmmm. We have many occupations represented on the board. Having our own legal council could be helpfull.
Good Luck with the outcome Robert.

Chris,
You may not be aware but we already have a sitting judge here on the board, The Honorable Andrew N. Capone. AKA, Shotgun_13601. We're in good hands  :D :D

Edited to correct spelling  :D :D

 Wasn't aware Donny...lol...I guess maybe one judge is plenty.
I'd still show him your project Robert...and turn him on to Farmallcub.com. At least he'll know you're hanging with a pretty good bunch of guys!
