going back to work

Postby daddydip » Fri May 08, 2009 12:53 pm

i'm sure there are only a few on the forum that knows that i had been disabled in sept.2007. i was run off the rode by another motorist, actually driving head on in my lane of traffic. luckily my experience told me to leave the road way to avoid the head on collision.i broke my radius in my wrist which had to be surgically repaired and also broke the ulna also. i guess i should mention the compound fracture of the elbow. i've rehabed. had all of the titanium eleven screws and three pins and a plate removed in july o8. well what this is about is that i've pretty much went through my savings to survive this last 19 months and i was starting to feel a little desperate about how i would fulfill my obligations here on out. i had applied for a position at the local v.a. center last nov. dec. well god is merciful and surely good.i went and took my physical and the rest of the pre-employment tests and i should be starting back to work after the memorial day holiday. just wanted to share and give thanks to god in a very public way amongst people who may understand what a blessing that i have been bestowed in these hard times. thanks for listening.

Guess it is good to cash coming in but it leaves you less time for the cubs.
