A great young man lost his life to a road side bomb in Iraq this week. He was a class mate to my oldest son. Hearts ache for his family and for our community. Enjoy the wonders of heaven Joseph...

Ellen, prayers from Rosie and myself also. I lost a couple friends many years ago during the Viet Nam era so I have somewhat of an idea what your son is going through. It is always tragic to lose someone, but it always seems a little harder when it is under these conditions. Joseph died to protect us all and that is something no one will ever forget. May the good Lord look after him and those he left behind.

Ellen,

This is terribly sad news. Your son's classmate did not die in vain. Our world is a better place because of his commitment to help make it better in the face of such evil. Our prayers are with him and his family, and may God bless him and keep him always.
