Minor disaster in the WisconsinCubMan Household

Postby Hengy » Mon Jan 04, 2010 8:35 am

Returned from Pittsburgh last night to a minor disaster in my house. It was 26 degrees inside, and the radiators were frozen solid and some busted. I am unsure of the plumbing, and will have to assess today.

Please pray for my family and for me as we move through this trial over the coming days...

Mike,

Good luck. Prayer has been lifted up.

Really hate to hear that Mike, be careful as you warm it up, there will be a lot of hidden leaks. Check your homeowners insurance, they may cover it. What happened, furnace failure, power out,?

Good Luck Mike. Thats the reason I have always had a friend check my house a couple of times a day when I was out of town. Had a water pipe break in the summer with minimum damage. Hope all goes well. Grump

Mike, I hope it all works out for you. Something to think about when you get it all working again is the toilet. When our lines froze the toilet devloped a small crack. The first time it was flushed after the thaw it gushed water all over.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.
