The Statler Brothers have long been one of my favorite groups.

There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Somehow, I just feel a little bit "uplifted" now that I have worked my way through that stuff.

Terry, you have GOT to come up to Bigdog's CubTug this year... I am sure that we can find at least two other guys who will sing with us. Maybe, if someone can arrange for a keyboard, we can do a little Gospel singalong together... that would be a BLAST!!

This is the only video I can find that I already have uploaded. This was a group I was in for a couple years. Two former Southern Plainsmen members started it and asked me to help out with them. I think this was right after we had started the group. I find it hard to hear on stage with out an ear monitor or at least the floor monitors have to be so loud that it is right below the house speakers. Then it blows the other guys off the stage

Gospel Singing is good for the heart and good for the soul. I have two cousins as they say in the Business

Squire Parsons and His Quartet
Squires Brother Virgil has The Brighter Side Quartet.
I have sang with both a time or two.

But if you wanta a Good Ol Fashion Soul pounding look this up on You Tube.

Howard Goodman sing " I Don't Regret A Mile I Have Traveled For The"
it is so uplifting and to realize shortly after this was written and recorded by Howard The Lord took him home.
My friendship with him and his lovely wife The Queen Of Gospel Music Vestal Goodmann was short but there will be aday we get to rejoice together on high.
