Need prayers for our son

Postby Bill Hudson » Sat Aug 14, 2010 3:59 pm

Folks,

Our son is a veteran of Operation Desert Storm. He came back really messed up, psychologically. Needless to say it has been a real roller coaster ride since then. The last 5 years have been great .... until today. He has been admitted to a local hospital and will probably be transferred to a VA facility to get his meds leveled out. Sometimes, it is not a quick or easy process.

Prayers would be appreciated. Thank you.
Bill

Prayers are on the way. I hope all go well.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

1. Thanks for his service. I was in desert storm/shield as well. At least my planes were. I volunteered to go with em, but someone else got to go.
2. The VA is making huge advancements in treating PTSD these days. (IF that is the diagnosis).
3. There is actually a "cure" out now, it has lowered PTSD in like 80% in those treated correctly. Some vets are mad they get the "cure" and lose their income as a result of no longer suffering.
4. I actually have an interview on Friday with the VA, to become a team member for their addictions program, as a lot of our boys and gals are coming home, turning to chemicals to deal with the pain. I am hoping to get on board. Being a vet myself.
5. Of course your son, and all vets, always have my prayers every night, and every week in church we offer up a special prayer to those serving and those who have served and are suffering.
6. Say all you want about Clinton, he was good for the VA. The VA made HUGE advancements under his leadership. As i have been a patient for my service connected disablities since.
7. If you ever have questions about treatment, or anything in general, just shoot me an pm or emal Bill.

Take care, and god bless.

John

Bill:

You and your family have our prayers. Thanks to your son's courage and of other veterans like him, there are free peoples in the Middle East. And we are stronger here at home because of the sacrifices made by them all. Please let him know that we do not forget... ever.

This always makes me feel better so I hope it helps for you all as well.

The Lord bless you and keep you!
The Lord make His face to shine upon you, and be gracious to you;
The Lord lift His countenance upon you, and give you (+)peace.
