Hurricane close by, so I threw something on the hood of the Cub to hold it down. I think it's called battening down the hatches or something to that effect. Not too much wind or rain, so far. But the sea seems a bit 'angry'.
Rudi, it's headed your way....

No Red, the hood is off a Lo Boy that I parted out a while back (still have the 1000 loader though). Not good enough to take up with the ones being painted/fixed. Rustiest tractor ever. The 64 Cub in the picture seemed like a deal at the time, actually I just upped the bid on ebay $10 went out to mount the snow plow and was shocked that I ended up with it. At the moment it's just taking up room. But to answer your question, I think that Cub was originally BLUE. I believe it was military/government of some sort.

Larry:
We have spent most of yesterday and today getting the hatches battened down. I think we are pretty well ready. Earl is headed directly for us with the primary track having the trajectory slightly east of Moncton -- which means between Dieppe and Sackville .. which is about 40 kms wide.
We are expecting around 100mm's or rain... maybe less but who knows...
We are watching Earl nail Cape Cod ... on CTV at the moment.. and wondering if it will be the same here.
Gonna be an interesting overnight and early morning. I am curious if the market will be open for breakfast

Cloudy skies and misting here today and by 3pm the sun was shining and the heat was turned back up. Hauled another ton of hay today , two tons in the barn and just about ready to look for feeders. I'm looking at a four day mini vacation i guess i can get in some cub time.

Beautiful sunny and breezy day today, cooled down to the 70's
Just over an inch of rain, but had a downpour during the day yesterday so 1 1/2" rain total. Storm wasn't as bad as a typical nor-easter.
You should be in good shape Rudi.....

Winds are up there some pretty good gusts, raining but nothing serious so far..... I think we will be ok. The storm is now a tropical and the track has moved about 50 kms east.. gonna be an interesting afternoon, good for the gardens but man is it humid
