Prayers For My Brother-in-law

Postby Rudi » Fri Sep 17, 2010 7:47 pm

A few weeks ago Emilie's youngest sibling her brother Jean was admitted to hospital with a collapsed lung. After re-inflating the lung and a few days in hospital to recuperate, Jean went back home. This past Sunday evening Jean was admitted back into hospital. His lung had collapsed again. They also found a portion of his lung had air bubbles in the lining and they would pop ... putting pressure on his heart. Last night he had emergency surgery and had 5% of his left lung removed. He is not out of the woods yet...

Em has spent most of the week at the hospital either with our daughter Sammy who is currently battling Kidney Stones and with Jean. Needless to say she is a bit pooped and emotionally wrung out.

So ifn you would, could you say a prayer for Jean as he recuperates from this surgery and maybe for a bit of support as he tries to quit the smoking habit :?: If he doesn't, the prognosis is not good :(

A little one for Samantha and Emilie would help too :?:

Thanks and the Lord bless you all (+)

Prayers are sent from the Buckeye State Rudi. Keep us posted. Although I have never met most of the members of the forum, it feels like we are all part of a large extended family and we all care deeply about one another. A special prayer for your wife at this time also. John
