Remember my dad in your prayers today.... He's having a 3 for 1 surgery this morning. He's got a torn rotator cuff, torn bicep, and spurs on his shoulder... It's pretty routine but he's going to be laid up for a while and I guess it'll mean me going over and feeding the stove for quite a while and helping him and mom out. He was supposed to have it early in the summer but he never could get it worked out between his work and the surgeon. Hopefully the weather will stay decent enough to get at least another cord of wood split and stacked.

Dad is out of surgery and the doctor said everything went smooth... they are going to keep him overnight for observation due to having sleep apnea. Thanks for all the prayers guys!! God is good!

Prayers up from the Ozarks.

He got released this afternoon. The Dr. said that is was in a lot worse shape than he expected, but he should make a full recovery. He's got quite a bit of pain, but that's to be expected. Luckily I live just around the road from mom and dad so I can help them out without a problem.

Glad to hear your Dad is going to be okay. Hope he listens to the doc and to your mom and rests a bit. Good that he has help close by
