Folks,

Wanted to bring you up to date. We met, yesterday, with a medical oncologist to get his input. It looks like a series of four chemo treatments, over a 9 to 12 week period and hormone therapy (by pills) for five years. We are not out of the woods yet, but we can see the edge of the woods from here.

Thank you all for your prayers and kind thoughts. Jo and I really appreciate them.

Thanks for the update. Glad that the prognosis is looking hopeful even though there is still a long row to hoe. You, Jo and the family remain in our daily prayers (+).

Folks,

I have been remiss in not posting an update and some of you have PMed some questions. So here is the current status.

Jo has had the third, of four, chemo treatments. She is doing very well physically, no yammies ( :{_}:), no other side effects other than very low energy. That is the problem and those of you who know my wife --- she has two speeds, overdrive and stop. She does not handle idling well, at all. However, she is learning to "pace" herself.

All in all, she is doing remarkably well and several people marvel at her attitude, positive and upbeat. "Cancer is what it is and I'll deal with it in a positive manner."

Thanks for your prayers and please continue to offer prayerful support. We are truly blessed to have the support of you folks. Thanks again.

Bill

Bill, I have always felt a positive attitude is the key to the cure. It sounds like she has what it takes. Prayers will continue from here.

Bill:

You and Jo have such upbeat attitudes and I surely like her attitude to cancer "Cancer is what it is and I'll deal with it in a positive manner." ..

And yup, it is what it is and she will beat it especially with you by her side. You both are in Em's and my prayers and we hope Jo will continue to focus positively :!:
