One of you fine folks sent a PM asking about Ms. Bill. So, it is well past time for an update on my wife, Jo. Here goes.

Anyone who knows her well understands that Jo has two speeds, full throttle and stop. She does not do well at idle. :) :) Therefore, the most trouble she has had through this whole ordeal is psychologically adjusting to a lot of idle time and no full throttle. However, she has/is made/making the adjustments necessary to adapt until she can once again operate at two speeds. As she has said "I'm learning a new word, pacing." She is learning to pace herself and accept the fact that her mind often writes checks that her body can't cash. :) :)

She finished chemo on July 20th, visited her surgeon yesterday and got an excellent evaluation from him. She is excited, as we all (family and physicians) are, that it has gone as well as it has and we are all anticipating an excellent recovery. She is well enough that I'm comfortable leaving, on Sunday, for a week-long mission trip to Kentucky.

Thanks for all your prayers, kind thoughts, and support. All are appreciated and we realize that it is not over, so if you are so inclined, continued prayers are encouraged.

Jo will remain in our thoughts and prayers. Thanks for the update, I will pass it along to Rosanne.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.
