30 Years In a Blink of an EyeIt really seams like yesterday but it was 30 years ago today, my beautiful bride Emilie and I said "I do" and we have traveling a very interesting road on our journey of life. It has been full of good times, fun times, happy times and of course the prerequisite not so happy times. She has been not only my best friend, the love of my life, my rock, my source of inspiration, she has stood beside me through thick and thin and through sickness and health. I thank the Lord daily for His blessings and for allowing us to share our lives together.
Unfortunately most of our journey has been spend in sickness and not so much health, we have both had our trials but mine have been substantially more difficult. This was not what I promised her if she would say yes. Yet she has stood beside me, she has loved me, cared for me and made me want to fight to stay on our journey with her even when I was at the lowest point in my life. I can safely say that without Em, life would have not been worth the cost. With Em, our 5 wonderful kids, and our granddaughter, life is all that I thought it could be and much, much more, even with our trials. Em is spending the day with Sammy in the hospital. Hopefully we will have a little time to go out and have dinner tonight. Happy Anniversary Em... love you with all of my heart and soul. I pray that He will give us 30 more wonderful years together.
