Prayer request UPDATE!

Postby ScottyD'sdad » Mon Apr 23, 2012 10:05 am

My young friend Mike, from Connecticut, suffered a broken neck and leg, in a dirt bike accident, last weekend. 10 hours of surgery on the neck, Sunday, and a couple hours on the leg, Monday. Prognosis is good, for complete recovery, but some prayers, can't hurt. He's being transferred to a rehab hospital today, for 3 to 4 weeks, followed by months of outpatient therapy. (ConnectiCubfest attendees, may know Mike. Usually rides around the grounds on an AC lawn tractor. His dad sells soft serve ice cream, at the shows,at Zagray.) Ed

You got it Ed. :big afro:

How old is he? It sure is easier recovering from stuff like this while you are still growing.

Wishing the young fella well.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Visited with him, at the rehab hospital, Friday night, while at ConnectiCubfest. He' s progressing so well, he may be sent home from the rehab hospital, Thursday. Still a long road of therapy ahead, but his spirit is good, and he'll do well. Thanks for the thoughts and prayers. Ed
