John's quote Always wondered how Larry Hagman got a liver. Man he looks bad.
There are many forms of liver disease and different kinds of cirrhosis many not caused by drinking as was the case with my wife. I don't remember if Hagman was a drinker but if he was, he would have had to show that he was clean and sober before getting a new liver. All other things being equal, a drinker gets one minus point on the score for the list versus someone who has a difference disease not caused by their own actions. BTW, I think Larry looks great; he's alive.

I'm still a donor in spite of the cancer. Sure, they cannot use most or any parts for actual transplants, but they always need bodies and parts for study or training. I sure won't need them!! Don't need to explain it to family members, either...we are ALL donors!
