I haven't been around here much lately. Here's why. Today I received my doctorate in Agricultural & Extension Education from NC State. I hope Mrs. Jones won't mind too much if I post her on the internet.....

My dad was superintendent of schools and in education all his life. A good part of that was gaining more education for himself; a master's, then later, a doctorial degree.

I know from observing dad and what he went through that the diploma you are holding represents countless hours of hard work. You are to be congratulated and commended for your effort and result. Way to go!!

I know of the time commitment and sacrifice required as my son's wife has her Doctorate in Pharmacy. Freshman thru to PhD. nonstop. Made my head spin.
