Recent Artery Stent

Postby BIGHOSS » Mon Jul 14, 2014 12:22 pm

Just to let everyone know that I had a procedure four weeks ago today. I had been experiencing shortest of breath and lately a slight sensation in my upper chest.
Had an arteriogram and found a 98% blockage in my "Widow maker" artery. Installed a stent right then to correct the problem. Every thing is good now with no heart damage. After resting for a couple of weeks, I am good to go about my normal activities, such as riding horses, hauling hay, working on cubs, lifting weights at gym, etc.

Found it just in time. God is good!

Good to hear all is well!
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Glad to hear that it was caught early. You did the right thing by getting to your doctor at the first signs. Good job.

No doubt there was some guidence from the MASTER above. I first went to my PCP (at this point just shortness of breadth, no chest pain), who sent me to a pulmonologist. By the time I got to him I noticed and mentioned to him about a tightness in my upper chest. He immediately sent me to a cardiologist who did an arteriogram, post haste. I do not believe that all of these chain of events was by happen chance.
