My 2 sisters and I just returned to NC from Micigan, and passed through some beautiful countryside. If I had been alone, it would have been a great chance to drop in on a few fellow forum members. Alas, we drove right between Niles and Buchanan on US 31..couldn't convince them to stop and visit rickyracer. Then we whizzed right past Barnyard's in Harrison, OH.
I had read quite a few posts talking about Rural King stores, but visited my first yesterday, and WOW! Could have spent hours just wandering around...give me a hardware/tool store any day!! It's sort of like an Agri-Supply crossed with a Walmart! Wish I had one near me in NC!
The other sad part to an otherwise fine adventure was we were packed full and thus could offer no Cub Express through prime Cub territory! Sorry!

A visit with Rick is great. I enjoyed our visit with him when we were up that way.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Bummer!! If you honked your horn going down US 31, I would probably hear you, you were that close! I wish you could have stopped in to say hi. Maybe next time, it would be good to see you again.

I buy some stuff on line, from Rural King. Their price, plus shipping, is cheaper than I can find it locally. I get their sale bulletins, by email. I wish you could buy batteries, online. A son is married into an auto parts family, and I get a discount there, but the battery is still $20 more than Rural King's price.

Long haul, for a few batteries, and I'd have to put up with you, too!
