My Pop is failing. If the Lord lets him live, he will be 97 next Tuesday. He has been ready to meet his maker for a long time. My prayer is for his comfort and for our ability to understand God's will.

George, A difficult time for you. I have said a prayer for his comfort while here, and for a safe journey if it is truly his time to go. Larry

God Bless him George. I lost my father in July. As much as I miss him it was a blessing for him. His was slipping and was ready to go too. We miss him but are satisfied he is no longer suffering.

George:

What can I say that you already do not know? Em's and my prayers are with you and all of your family, and we pray that the Good Lord gives to your Dad what he needs according to HIS plan.

As we know from the Apology,

Our Faith is in the Lord
Our Help is in the Lord

May the Lord Bless you and your family
May the Lord Comfort and Keep you and your family
May the Lord shine down HIS Countenance upon you and your family
and
May the Lord grant you and your family Peace (+)

I have received much serenity and comfort in these words, and I pray that you and your family will also find the comfort you need.

It has been 9 years since my Dad has passed on and even though he is no longer with us in body, he is with us in spirit and I know that he is with the Lord. I truly hope that your Dad is comfortable and does not suffer.
