PB (Blaster) Grease

Postby Urbish » Sat Feb 29, 2020 7:06 pm

I spotted a can of PB Grease on the shelf at Family Farm and Home today. Have any of you tried it yet? Says it is thick so it can stay in prolonged contact to free rusty fasteners.

It is very thick and resembles cosmoline. I will try it on a few things and report back.

I gooped some on these super rusty bolts. Will let it sit for a week and see what happens.

The viscosity would make me wonder how well it will "flow/creep" down the threads. It'll be interesting to see how well it works.

I agree. But that is exactly what it is advertised to do. We will see....
